What we issue

Four things, priced before we start.

Calculations and drawings

Signed calculations and construction drawings for building control, issued as a package rather than in instalments.

Site inspection

Scheduled inspections with a written note after each visit, so the contractor and the client see the same thing.

Structural surveys

Condition reports on existing frames, including listed and historic structures.

Temporary works

Propping and sequencing schemes for openings, removals and retained facades.

Practice

Engineers who go to site.

Eighteen years, chartered throughout, and every job signed by the engineer who did it. We do not hand a scheme to a technician and check it later.

Most of our work comes from four or five architects and two contractors who have used us for years. We take homeowner work directly as well, and quote it the same way.

Enquire

Send the drawings and we will price it.

A sketch, a survey or a set of architect's drawings is enough. A fee proposal usually comes back within 48 hours, fixed, with the scope written out.
