Delivered

Three schemes, and what made each one difficult.

Building under scaffold

Town centre rebuild

Retail, £900k

A listed frontage retained and propped while everything behind it was taken out and rebuilt.

A restored rendered facade

Facade restoration

Heritage, £1.4m

Render, windows and rainwater goods renewed on an occupied building, from a scaffold licence that ran twelve weeks.

Close detail of clay roof tiles

Distribution unit roof

Industrial, £8m

Largest scheme to date. Frame and envelope up in eleven weeks so the tenant could fit out before their season.

Sectors

Where we work.

Education

Primary and secondary, mostly occupied sites where the programme is set by term dates rather than by us.

Industrial

Portal frame units, distribution and light manufacturing, up to eight million.

Retail and leisure

Fit out and shell works, including listed and town centre sites with tight access.

Frameworks

Local authority frameworks and repeat clients, with open book cost reporting.

The company

Thirty one years, and the same directors.

Marren has been trading since 1995 under the same two directors. We are big enough to be principal contractor on an eight million pound scheme and small enough that one of them is on every job.

Ninety six per cent of our schemes over the last five years finished to programme, and we have had no RIDDOR reportable incident in that period. Both numbers are in every tender we submit.

Enquire

Send us the tender documents.

We will tell you within a week whether it is a scheme for us, and we would rather say no early than price something badly. Pre construction advice is available before a scheme goes out.
